Born into a world of ruin and orphaned by misfortune and disaster, Shiro has lived alone for a very long time now. And she's started to get really sick of it.

But as she is about to give up on hope of ever meeting others, she finds not one, but two people have suddenly entered her life: a strange person, named Dano, and even stranger still, a mysterious woman on the radio called Kuro.

Why the sudden change of pace? And what's with those weird mushrooms?
